Our story began with Bernard Chan, who recognised Australia's boundless potential and made the courageous move from Papua New Guinea in 1967. With a vision to secure his family's future, Bernard invested in several commercial properties, instilling core values that continue to guide us today.

Sunny has spent over a decade managing shopping centre operations, overseeing six Banna sites across Sydney. He’s hands-on, practical, and committed to excellent shopper and tenant experiences. His focus on teamwork, cost-effective solutions, and quality outcomes makes him a key player in keeping our centres running at their best.
With 25 years in the property industry, Sean leads asset management, investment, and acquisitions with a sharp commercial focus and a deep understanding of retail environments. He’s passionate about evolving spaces to meet changing community needs, delivering growth through strategy, leasing, and repositioning. A strong communicator and trusted leader, Sean builds relationships that last and rarely misses the chance to share a dad joke along the way.
Maria is one of Banna’s longest-serving team members and a pillar behind the scenes. Known for her calm presence, reliability, and laser-sharp attention to detail, she ensures our finances run like clockwork. Her consistency makes her an invaluable part of the team — someone you can always count on.
Nicole leads marketing across Banna’s centres with a focus on real connection. Between retailers, communities, and the places they share. She’s hands-on and people-focused, working closely with tenants to tell their stories and create experiences that feel local and meaningful. Curious by nature and driven by purpose, Nicole values genuine connection and often finds the best ones start with food.
Kelly brings energy, organisation, and a creative spark to everything she does. With over 10 years in marketing and communications, she delivers standout campaigns, brand promotions, and retail activations. Outside of work, she’s just as creative — often found in the kitchen perfecting her legendary egg fried rice.
Stan is Banna’s quiet achiever. Dependable, thoughtful, and always focused on getting the job done well. With over 20 years of experience in tenant relations, he manages lease negotiations, resolves issues with care, and keeps communication clear and consistent. Calm and approachable, Stan ensures tenants feel supported and centres continue to operate smoothly, often without needing to say much at all.
Rod wears two hats at Banna — overseeing our finances and quietly keeping our IT systems in check. Whether it’s month-end reporting or a computer glitch, he’s the steady, solutions-focused presence the team relies on. Known for his calm approach, Rod keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes — though he’s a bit more competitive when it comes to table tennis.
Noor believes that good planning and clear communication are the keys to delivering results. She’s passionate about keeping projects on track, hitting deadlines, and building trust along the way. Known for tackling challenges head-on, Noor ensures that collaboration and progress always go hand-in-hand.
Julie isn’t your typical accountant. While she’s across every detail and keeps the numbers in check, she brings a relaxed, approachable energy to everything she does. She works closely with teams to turn financial data into clear, useful insight — all while keeping the mood light and the spreadsheets accurate. Focused but easy-going, Julie brings balance to both the books and the team around her.

He takes a thoughtful, people-first approach to every negotiation, working to create long-term value for both tenants and landlords. Summan is the behind-the-scenes champion who keeps our centres safe, functional, and welcoming. From coordinating maintenance to supporting tenants and contractors, he’s reliable, approachable, and always ready to lend a hand — making life easier for everyone who works or shops at our properties.
With over 25 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, Federico leads the delivery of capital works across Banna’s portfolio. He’s committed to building sustainable, well-executed spaces, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and smart design. When he’s not deep in project plans, he's likely catching a Grand Slam or the latest Formula 1 race.
Donna brings over two decades of experience in shopping centre management, with a reputation for being both practical and ahead of the curve. She has a sharp eye for spotting issues before they escalate and a strong working knowledge of the Retail Leases Act to guide her decisions. Known for her steady, no-nonsense approach, Donna keeps the day-to-day running efficiently — creating an environment where tenants and landlords can get on with business, minus the drama.
Brad leads Banna Property Group with a focus on strategy, innovation and long-term impact. With a background in property and organisational culture, he’s passionate about thoughtful leadership, mentoring and supporting communities through initiatives like Haymarket HQ and the Banna Foundation. Outside of work his time is spent with family, reading, playing & following sports. He's recently developed an addiction to playing the sport of pickleball so always happy to talk about all things pickle-related.
